Doors to the Future for Immigrant Children – art Project Supported

The first day of “doors to the future for immigrant children” was excellent. Migrant children from SAARC nations participated in the program.

The art project “doors to the future for immigrant children” is a special project to help children with a migration background, supported by internationally renowned artist Karl Küffel and UIZ Umwelt und Informationstechnologie Zentrum, Neue Grünstraße 38, 10179, Berlin, Germany. White-painted commercial doors serve children from various South Asian countries as a template. Children from low-income immigrant families and established relationships take part in the project to illuminate the current immigration situation from different positions. In a time frame of approximately four weeks, the children can design their door artistically free. Wishes for the future, but also present fears and longings are made ​​in the project on the subject. After completion, the doors should be first presented in a solo exhibition. The plan is to introduce a broad audience all painted doors of the entire project in a final art exhibition.
